Lynch Syndrome
This page of my blog is going to be dedicated to spreading the word about Lynch Syndrome (HNPCC) Hereditary Non-Polyposis Colorectal Cancer.
In the past year and a half my life has been changed by my husbands diagnosis of Lynch Syndrome which is a form of Colon Cancer that is onset very early, his tumor was found at age 36, and is caused by a DNA mutation which often is passed on to generations in families.
In the next few weeks I hope to add a lot of information that I learn as I begin taking my children, who have just been diagnosed as Positive for the MLH1 Mutation, to their first specialists appts.
